Advantages of referring cases to Pr C. Laurent

Pr C.Laurent is currently one of the referring pathologist for lymphoma diagnosis in France with an international recognition and reviews 2500 cases a year.
Pr Laurent has published around one hundred articles in this domain and is involved in the main review networks in lymphoma diagnosis in France (Lymphoma Study Association, Lymphopath, GEBOm, LymphoVir).

More specifically, she is involved in the Lymphopath network funded by the French National Cancer Agency (INCa) which provides, prior to treatment, a pathological review by an hematopathology expert of every newly diagnosed or suspected lymphoma in France. IUCT-Oncopole set up a molecular biology platform specialized in lymphomas with FISH analysis, RT-PCR, Sanger, NGS sequencing and RNA sequencing, all techniques which can be performed on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues and on fresh samples.

Based on her recent paper she has demonstrated that she can provide in real-time an accurate lymphoma diagnosis, confirming or revising non expert conclusions for optimal clinical patient management.
